Art + Food

The Hispanic Museum is a special gem of culture tucked far behind the neon lights of Vegas. It's less of a museum and more of a lot of great pieces of art throughout the city- most by Latino artists, all with Hispanic themes. A particular favorite of mine was a piece by Hector Silva in the Mix it Up exhibit; the background was a Mexican flag, the focus was a black and white sketch of a woman going into battle. Very cool.
Peruvian food is amazing, and if you've never tried it now you have the perfect excuse. Eat great food, support local arts- it doesn't get much better than that. Please go if you have the time!
